The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Business and ICT Teacher to join a dynamic department and inspire students at KS3 and KS4. This role offers the chance to contribute to a successful department with strong academic outcomes and a thriving extra-curricular programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business and Creative i-Media at KS4 and Computing at KS3.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that promote student achievement and curiosity.
  • Support the school’s commitment to inclusive practices and student wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities related to Business and ICT.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental and school-wide initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business and ICT.
  • Experience teaching Business and Computing at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with GCSE Business and i-Media qualifications.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular or STEM-related activities.
  • Experience with digital learning tools and resources.
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting.
