The Opportunity:

A dynamic Computer Science Teacher is needed to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning and development in a values-driven school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports all abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a robust Computer Science curriculum.
  • Support students academically, personally, and spiritually in line with the school’s ethos.
  • Provide targeted guidance and support to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular and pastoral activities.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Computer Science education and technology.
  • Work flexibly to support other subjects as needed within the department.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Proven ability to teach Computer Science to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to a values-driven and faith-based educational environment.
  • Experience in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with Islamic values and ethos in education.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
  • Leadership experience or interest in middle or senior leadership roles.
