Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a broad and inclusive Physical Education curriculum tailored to girls
  • Encourage teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles among students
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote physical activity and well-being
  • Support the development of students’ confidence and leadership skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE programme and school-wide initiatives
  • Monitor and assess student progress in line with school objectives
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture through PE activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Physical Education
  • Strong knowledge of PE curriculum and best practices
  • Experience working with girls in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and leading extracurricular sports activities
  • Familiarity with the Aspire curriculum or similar enrichment programmes
  • Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and physical activity
  • Experience with teaching in a multi-academy trust or similar setting
