Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Computer Science department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Promote the use of educational technology across all key stages.
• Collaborate with the Middle Leadership team to support school-wide initiatives.
• Deliver Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities and support student well-being through form tutoring.
• Ensure a cohesive and modern curriculum that meets the demands of the digital world.
• Work closely with the IT technician to maintain and optimize the school's digital infrastructure.
• Encourage high expectations and support student achievement across all areas of learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science and ICT.
• Strong leadership and management experience within an educational setting.
• Experience in curriculum development and delivery across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience in online safety education.
• Background in leading a department or team.
• Involvement in co-curricular activities and student mentoring.
• Familiarity with current trends in digital education and emerging technologies.
