The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Business & Economics Teacher to join our experienced Electives team. This role offers the opportunity to shape the curriculum and deliver high-quality education at GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced Economist and contribute to a supportive and collaborative teaching environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Business & Economics lessons at GCSE and A Level
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Business curriculum
• Support student learning through innovative and engaging teaching methods
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly
• Participate in departmental meetings and staff development activities
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities
• Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business & Economics
• Experience teaching Business at GCSE and A Level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student success and academic achievement
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

• Experience in curriculum development
• Experience with teaching Economics
• Familiarity with independent school environments
• Experience with using digital tools in the classroom
• Evidence of professional development or continuing education
