Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop whole-school behaviour systems and processes.
  • Oversee safeguarding practices and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Manage daily attendance processes and support systems.
  • Provide strategic leadership in standards and curriculum development.
  • Work closely with the Headteacher to shape the school’s vision and direction.
  • Support and challenge staff, students and parents to achieve the highest standards.
  • Ensure inclusive practices and support for all students.
  • Contribute to the development and opening of a new school in 2028.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting.
  • Strong commitment to Catholic education and values.
  • Experience in pastoral care, standards, safeguarding and inclusion.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, students and parents.
  • A practising Catholic with a deep understanding of Catholic education.

Preferred

  • Experience in senior leadership or on a path to headship.
  • Experience with school improvement strategies and outcomes.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and statutory compliance procedures.
  • Experience in leading and developing a pastoral team.
  • Experience in working with diverse communities.
