The Opportunity:
As a Business, Leadership & Management Tutor, you will play a key role in shaping the future of apprentices and students by delivering high-quality training and support. You will be responsible for teaching and assessing students in business, leadership, and management courses up to Level 5, while also contributing to the school's quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to apprentices and students in business, leadership, and management courses.
- Assess student work, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to support learning and development.
- Support and mentor students to help them achieve their full potential and gain confidence.
- Participate in internal quality assurance processes to ensure consistent standards of teaching and learning.
- Engage with industry partners and wider stakeholders to enhance the learning experience.
- Attend training and professional development sessions to improve teaching practices and qualifications.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and performance.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in Business, Leadership & Management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply.
- Organised and reliable with a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to work towards assessing and quality assurance qualifications.
- Commitment to student support and development.
Preferred
- Qualified assessor or IQA experience.
- Experience in teaching or training within a formal education setting.
- Experience with apprenticeship frameworks and quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with Level 5 business and management courses.
