The Opportunity:

As a Sports Therapy Programme Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education across a range of Sport Therapy programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the next generation of practitioners and support learners in both academic and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Sport Therapy programmes, including BSc and Level 3 modules
  • Support learners in academic study and develop their practical clinical techniques
  • Provide pastoral support to help students achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to the development of a high-quality and innovative learning experience
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and impactful teaching delivery
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and incorporate them into the curriculum
  • Assess and provide feedback to students in line with academic and professional standards
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant degree in Sport Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Industry experience in Sport Therapy
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one
  • Experience in teaching or a strong desire to move into education
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for education

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering Level 3 and higher education modules
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language
  • Knowledge of current trends and practices in Sport Therapy
  • Experience in curriculum development and assessment design
