The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic team as a Business Studies & ICT Teacher to deliver high-quality education to students from Year 7 to 13. This role is ideal for someone passionate about business, ICT, and student achievement, and who is committed to fostering critical thinking and innovation in a diverse, international setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies and ICT that align with the British curriculum.
  • Lead the delivery of BTEC Business/ICT units, ensuring all assessment and internal verification standards are met.
  • Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through project-based learning and real-world business case studies.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with the department to ensure curriculum alignment and share innovative instructional resources.
  • Support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, including EAL learners.
  • Utilize digital tools such as Google Classroom and Google Meet to enhance learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, ICT, or a closely related field.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching Business Studies and ICT within a British curriculum setting.
  • Confident knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Business and ICT across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Preferred

  • Extensive experience in delivering BTEC qualifications.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
