Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that promote a deep understanding of Humanities.
  • Develop and implement an ambitious and innovative Humanities curriculum.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school and within the BOA Group to enhance teaching and learning.

  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of Humanities and digital education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Humanities, preferably History.
  • Proven experience in teaching Humanities at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong classroom management and delivery skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a digitally innovative or creative educational setting.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
  • Passion for History and a commitment to inspiring students.
  • Experience working in a Multi-Academy Trust or similar educational environment.
