Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that promote a deep understanding of Humanities.
- Develop and implement an ambitious and innovative Humanities curriculum.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school and within the BOA Group to enhance teaching and learning.
- Support students in achieving academic success and personal growth.
- Use evidence-informed teaching practices to ensure continuous improvement in student outcomes.
- Contribute to the wider academic and extracurricular life of the school.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Humanities and digital education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Humanities, preferably History.
- Proven experience in teaching Humanities at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management and delivery skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a digitally innovative or creative educational setting.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Passion for History and a commitment to inspiring students.
- Experience working in a Multi-Academy Trust or similar educational environment.
