Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Business and Economics curriculum across all key stages.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Support and mentor other teachers in the subject area.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress to ensure strong outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of school-wide policies and initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development and leadership training.
  • Promote the school’s virtues-led ethos and values in teaching and learning.
  • Ensure a calm and purposeful learning environment through consistent behaviour management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Business and Economics.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a subject curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Experience in a high-performing school setting.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience with curriculum development and teacher training.
  • Familiarity with faith-based education or multi-faith environments.
