The Opportunity:

As the Business Systems Manager, you will play a vital role in managing and evolving the school’s core business systems. This includes MIS, HR/Payroll, and Finance platforms, ensuring they are integrated, secure, and deliver real value to the school. You will work closely with key departments to drive data governance, improve reporting, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the school’s MIS, HR/Payroll, and Finance platforms
• Deliver system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across systems
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards and reporting tools
• Manage vendor relationships and lead a small specialist team
• Support academic, pastoral, and support teams with system needs
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency
• Ensure systems are aligned with the school’s strategic goals and operational needs

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience managing complex MIS and related systems
• Strong technical and data governance skills
• Experience in delivering system upgrades and integrations
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to data security and compliance

Preferred

• Experience in the education sector
• Knowledge of iTrent HR/Payroll systems
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
• Understanding of educational institution operations and challenges
