Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science and a second subject to students across multiple sites.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Work closely with parents, staff, and agencies to support student well-being and attendance.
- Build strong relationships with students to foster a positive learning environment.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and support.
- Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress regularly.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
- Ability to teach a second subject.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student well-being and academic progress.
- Experience working with students with a range of needs, including autism and SEMH.
Preferred
- Experience working in a school with a similar ethos and student profile.
- Experience in teaching at KS4 and KS5 levels.
- Experience in delivering vocational qualifications or functional skills.
- Experience in a multi-site or academy trust setting.
