Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science and a second subject to students across multiple sites.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Work closely with parents, staff, and agencies to support student well-being and attendance.
  • Build strong relationships with students to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and support.
  • Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
  • Ability to teach a second subject.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student well-being and academic progress.
  • Experience working with students with a range of needs, including autism and SEMH.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school with a similar ethos and student profile.
  • Experience in teaching at KS4 and KS5 levels.
  • Experience in delivering vocational qualifications or functional skills.
  • Experience in a multi-site or academy trust setting.
