Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Business and Economics up to Key Stage 5.
- Motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential through innovative and dynamic teaching methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Social Sciences faculty to support student learning and progression.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Support the school’s commitment to academic excellence and student success through continuous professional development.
- Stay up to date with developments in the Business and Economics curriculum and incorporate new teaching strategies.
- Work closely with students to ensure they are well prepared for A Level courses and future opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business and Economics.
- Experience teaching Business and Economics at Key Stage 4 and 5.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to academic excellence and student success.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Economics.
- Experience with Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or a track record of supporting professional development.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience working in a school with a strong focus on student behavior and progress.
