The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Computer Science department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Deliver engaging and contemporary Computer Science lessons up to and including Key Stage 5.
- Motivate and support both students and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology across the curriculum.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Computer Science and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all students within the department.
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape the strategic direction of the department.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science, ideally up to Key Stage 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
- Proven leadership experience in a school setting.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a department or team.
- Familiarity with cutting-edge technology and its application in education.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching methods.
- Strong track record in professional development and staff mentoring.
