The Opportunity:
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the school’s buildings. Your work will directly support the well-being of students and staff, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain classrooms, accommodation, and public areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Conduct deep cleaning of dormitories, offices, and classrooms during holiday periods.
- Report any incidents, accidents, theft, or damage to supervisors promptly and take necessary action where possible.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet cleaning schedules and standards.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support other members of the housekeeping team as required.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in all areas of responsibility.
- Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, or willingness to learn and train.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and school holidays.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Right to work in the UK.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
