Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor and support student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and share best practices.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and incorporate relevant content into lessons.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s culture of excellence and character education.
  • Support students in preparing for further study and career opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Experience teaching Business at A Level or equivalent.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with vocational courses or BTEC qualifications.
  • Experience with character education or pastoral support.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience with professional development and mentoring.
