The Opportunity:

As a Careers Guidance Counsellor, you will play a vital role in guiding students and families through the university application process. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ futures and support them in achieving their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students and families through the university application process, providing expert guidance and advice.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and other members of the school community.
• Collaborate with the Futures team to create and deliver career-related programs and workshops.
• Stay up to date with international higher education opportunities, particularly in Thailand and globally.
• Provide individualized support to students in identifying and applying to suitable undergraduate programs.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to student development and career planning.
• Promote the school’s vision of preparing students for a sustainable global future through career and personal development.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student applications and progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in careers guidance, preferably in an international school setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to support students through the university application process.
• Commitment to holistic education and student development.
• Experience in a progressive, collaborative, and forward-thinking environment.

Preferred

• Experience with supporting students applying to international higher education programs in Thailand.
• Fluency in Thai, including the ability to speak, read, and write in Thai.
• Multilingual abilities, especially in languages relevant to international education.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar qualifications.
