Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science at KS3 and KS4 with a focus on Chemistry.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote student progress and attainment.
- Support students in developing a deep understanding of scientific concepts and skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and support.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of the Science curriculum.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and student enrichment opportunities.
- Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and improve teaching standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
- Ability to teach Science at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with evidence-based teaching approaches and research-informed practice.
- Background in professional learning and development.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum design and delivery.
