Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging A-level Chemistry lessons to small groups of motivated students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
- Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and professional development opportunities.

- Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate new ideas into teaching.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good degree in a relevant subject, ideally from a leading university.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to students of all abilities.
- High expectations of yourself and your students.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to contribute to the school community.
Preferred
- Previous teaching experience, particularly in A-level Chemistry.
- Experience with teacher training programs or qualifications such as ECT or QTS.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced academic environment.
- Experience with safeguarding and student welfare practices.
