Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-informed Chemistry lessons that align with the National Curriculum of England.

  • Work closely with students to nurture their curiosity, confidence, and enthusiasm for science.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Secondary teaching or similar.
  • Proven experience teaching the National Curriculum of England to GCSE and A Level (KS3/4/5).
  • Exceptional subject knowledge in Chemistry.
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
  • Experience of working within a high-performing teaching team.
  • A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience with cognitive science-informed teaching practices.
  • Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom.
  • Experience in developing and delivering extra-curricular science activities.
  • Experience with the British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspection framework.
