Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences aligned with the IB curriculum.
- Foster a student-centered, inquiry-based learning approach that encourages critical thinking and curiosity.
- Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor and enhance student progress.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Support the school’s mission by promoting a culture of creativity, collaboration, and international awareness.
- Participate in school events and contribute to the development of a cohesive and supportive community.
- Provide individualized support to students of all abilities to ensure their academic and personal success.
- Stay up to date with educational trends and continuously improve teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelors degree in Physics or a related field, with a PGCE in Education and QTS or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years’ experience teaching in a reputable school.
- Experience in IB or GCSE subject-specific teaching.
- Strong track record of outstanding student results and academic achievement.
- Advanced English language skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
- Strong intercultural awareness and the ability to engage effectively with students and parents.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB programme.
- Knowledge of assessment strategies and their use in the classroom.
- Passion for stretching students to achieve their potential and beyond.
- Flexibility and a positive, problem-solving attitude.
