Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in History & Politics that challenge and inspire students.
- Foster a love of learning through creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Support students’ academic and personal growth through proactive pastoral care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching standards.
- Participate actively in school events, clubs, and community initiatives.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continued development and achievement.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in History & Politics.
- Proven experience in teaching at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative lesson plans.
- Familiarity with the use of digital tools in education.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Background in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.
- Previous experience in a school with a strong focus on emotional intelligence and individual attention.
