Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to Secondary students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the IB curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure high standards of learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student development and school initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide events.
  • Support students in preparing for IB examinations.
  • Stay up to date with current developments in Chemistry and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Teaching Qualification in Secondary Education.
  • Degree in a relevant subject area, such as Science or Chemistry.
  • Minimum two years of teaching experience in a Secondary classroom.
  • Strong communication and IT skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching the IB programme.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
