Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Citizenship and RE lessons that align with the school’s values and curriculum expectations.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and inclusive approach to teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
- Promote positive behavior and a safe learning environment for all students.
- Stay up to date with developments in Citizenship and RE education and incorporate these into teaching practice.
- Support the school’s mission by fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Citizenship and RE.
- Strong subject knowledge in Citizenship and Religious Education.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Commitment to student welfare and behavior management.
- Experience working in a school environment, ideally within a similar setting.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Familiarity with the use of digital tools in the classroom.
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on community and relationships.
- Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
