The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Religious Studies Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons tailored to the needs of students across the age range.
- Plan and prepare engaging and effective teaching materials and programmes.
- Monitor and support student progress, ensuring all pupils have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Promote the school’s core values of respect, kindness, and aspiration within the classroom.
- Support students with special educational needs where appropriate.
- Contribute to the pastoral care and well-being of students.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Commitment to child protection and safeguarding
- Evidence of continuous professional development
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Religious Studies at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Experience with pastoral support and student welfare
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
