The Opportunity:

A Class Teacher (EYFS Coordinator) is sought to take whole class responsibility and lead the EYFS team. This is a unique opportunity to shape early years education and support a nurturing learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver high-quality early years education to Pre-School students.
  • Coordinate and oversee the EYFS curriculum across the school.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and engaging learning experience.
  • Support and mentor early years staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to track student progress.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that values every child's development.
  • Liaise with parents and carers to support children's learning and well-being.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in early years education.
  • Proven ability to manage a class and lead a team.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Experience in a school setting, preferably in a similar role.

Preferred

  • Experience as an EYFS Coordinator or in a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Experience with child development and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Ability to plan and deliver cross-curricular learning experiences.
