The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct lessons in Years 1, 2 and 3
  • Plan, prepare and implement the agreed school curriculum to cater for the needs of all children
  • Provide well planned, engaging learning experiences and support for all learners
  • Create a warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere conducive to the social and emotional needs of the children
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies and encourage positive behaviour
  • Design an engaging, stimulating and relevant learning environment through displays and classroom organisation
  • Maintain cordial and informative relationships with parents
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, assistants and other school staff

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification with a passion for education
  • Value and inspire every child to reach their full potential
  • Confidently use IT to enhance teaching and learning
  • Demonstrate excellent appearance, attendance, and punctuality
