The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic French speaking Primary School Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis for a maternity cover starting in August 2026. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, bilingual environment and to contribute to the academic and personal growth of students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality French language instruction to primary students in a bilingual setting.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission of international understanding and pedagogical excellence.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to departmental initiatives.
  • Support students’ extra-curricular enrichment and learning beyond the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Native level French speaking ability.
  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to bilingual education and international understanding.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a bilingual or international school setting.
  • Familiarity with French curriculum standards.
  • Experience with extra-curricular activities and student enrichment programs.
