Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support individual and group learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive and innovative curriculum.
- Support the pastoral and social development of students, including those with special educational needs.
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Work closely with parents and carers to support student learning and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS1 or KS2.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and promote student engagement.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Experience with pastoral care and supporting students with special educational needs.
- Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience with teaching in a multi-cultural setting.
