The Opportunity:

As a Class Teacher KS1 or KS2, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds and ensuring every lesson counts. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, well-sequenced lessons that support strong progress and create a secure, inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, well-sequenced lessons that enable all pupils to make strong progress
  • Create a well-ordered, secure, and nurturing learning environment
  • Use assessment intelligently to inform teaching and next steps
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and those who are disadvantaged
  • Work closely with school leaders to track progress and implement timely intervention
  • Develop positive, professional relationships with parents and carers
  • Contribute actively to phase and whole-school development
  • Promote high expectations for behaviour, presentation, and achievement
