Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and learning experiences to KS1 students.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of classroom resources and activities.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent support and alignment with school values and curriculum goals.
- Contribute to the organization and execution of school events and activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a teaching or educational support role, preferably within primary education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with children aged 4 to 11.
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 curricula.
- Experience in a school setting with a strong emphasis on personal development and creativity.
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices and differentiated instruction.
