Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of young learners
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, kindness and excellence
  • Work closely with families and colleagues to support the individual needs of each child
  • Plan and implement a creative and ambitious curriculum that meets the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly to ensure continuous development
  • Contribute to the wider school community through collaboration and participation in school events
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all children
  • Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and diversity through your teaching practice

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in the Early Years sector
  • Strong classroom management and teaching skills
  • Commitment to inclusion and meeting the needs of all children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and organised approach to teaching and learning

Preferred

  • Experience in working with children with additional needs
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Experience in leading or contributing to whole-school initiatives
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and strategies
  • Experience in a large, diverse school setting
