Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of young learners
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, kindness and excellence
- Work closely with families and colleagues to support the individual needs of each child
- Plan and implement a creative and ambitious curriculum that meets the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements
- Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly to ensure continuous development
- Contribute to the wider school community through collaboration and participation in school events
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all children
- Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and diversity through your teaching practice
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in the Early Years sector
- Strong classroom management and teaching skills
- Commitment to inclusion and meeting the needs of all children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and organised approach to teaching and learning
Preferred
- Experience in working with children with additional needs
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
- Experience in leading or contributing to whole-school initiatives
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and strategies
- Experience in a large, diverse school setting
