Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in a small class setting with up to 16 pupils.
  • Plan and deliver engaging literacy and mathematics lessons with a focus on pupil development.
  • Incorporate innovative use of ICT to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Support pupils in developing their individual potential through tailored instruction and feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a consistent and positive learning environment.
  • Promote a warm and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and engagement.
  • Participate in the broader school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Ensure all pupils are well-prepared for the next stage of their education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative use of ICT in teaching
  • Experience with a dynamic and creative curriculum
  • Experience working in a co-educational school setting
  • Experience with pupil-led learning and self-assessment strategies
