The Opportunity:

We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to support the smooth operation of a school environment. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and order that contribute to a welcoming and safe learning space for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all areas of the school to agreed standards
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is stored correctly and maintained
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Work flexible hours including early mornings and afternoons
• Assist with additional cleaning tasks during school closures
• Communicate effectively with the Site Supervisor and other staff
• Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures
• Contribute to a clean and welcoming environment for students and visitors

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in cleaning or similar role
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and afternoons
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Preferred

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities
