The Opportunity:

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across multiple sites. This is a vital position that supports the school's mission to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise cleaning staff across multiple locations to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of cleaning teams to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address any maintenance or hygiene-related concerns promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Support the school's commitment to sustainability by promoting environmentally responsible cleaning practices.
  • Train and mentor cleaning staff to improve their skills and confidence.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure all areas meet the required standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a Cleaning Supervisor or similar leadership role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience working within an educational setting or multi-academy trust.
  • Understanding of sustainable cleaning practices.
