Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean and hygienic environments across all school premises.
• Ensure all areas are tidy, including classrooms, corridors, and communal spaces.
• Follow health and safety protocols and report any issues promptly.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
• Support the school's mission by contributing to a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Adhere to the school’s values and standards of behaviour and performance.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks where required.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in a similar cleaning role within an educational setting.
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.

Preferred

• Experience working in a school or multi-academy trust (MAT).
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a school environment.
• Flexibility to work across multiple sites within the region.
• Experience with cleaning in a busy, high-traffic environment.
