Join as a Link Tutor and support trainee teachers in their development and transition into Early Career Teaching.

The Opportunity:
As a Link Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting trainee teachers and ensuring they are well-prepared for the Early Career Teacher phase. You will provide high-quality guidance, monitor progress, and contribute to the development of a strong and impactful training programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structured, high-quality support to trainee teachers across all aspects of their training.
- Monitor trainee progress through regular reviews and feedback on online evidence portfolios.
- Deliver training to trainees and colleagues, including mentors, informed by excellent curriculum knowledge.
- Build strong relationships with trainees, mentors, and partner schools to ensure consistency of support.
- Contribute to programme development, quality assurance, and curriculum refinement aligned with national requirements.
- Support operational processes, including recruitment, interviews, and engagement events.
- Ensure a seamless transition from Initial Teacher Training to the Early Career Teacher Programme.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience at middle or senior leadership level with a strong track record in developing trainee or Early Career Teachers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Substantial subject and pedagogical knowledge and the ability to model excellent practice.
- Understanding of effective teacher development, mentoring, and coaching.
- Ability to analyse trainee progress and provide timely and precise feedback.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum design and teacher development.
- Experience with the Early Career Teacher Programme (ECTP).
- Experience with evidence-informed training and professional learning.
