Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean and hygienic environments across all school buildings and facilities
- Ensure the consistent application of cleaning protocols and health and safety standards
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate team
- Work collaboratively with other staff to support the smooth operation of the school
- Adhere to the school’s values and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Assist with the preparation of spaces for events, meetings, and other school activities
- Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Keep records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a similar cleaning role
- A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A good level of reliability and punctuality
- A flexible approach to working hours and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Preferred
- Experience working in an educational setting
- A good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Experience with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with staff and students
