Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clean and hygienic environments across all school buildings and facilities
  • Ensure the consistent application of cleaning protocols and health and safety standards
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate team
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to support the smooth operation of the school
  • Adhere to the school’s values and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Assist with the preparation of spaces for events, meetings, and other school activities
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Keep records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar cleaning role
  • A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A good level of reliability and punctuality
  • A flexible approach to working hours and the ability to adapt to changing priorities

Preferred

  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • A good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Experience with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with staff and students
