The Opportunity:

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. This is a vital position that supports the smooth operation of the school, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the cleaning team, ensuring efficient and effective daily operations.
• Organise and oversee cleaning schedules to ensure all areas of the school are covered.
• Act as the main point of contact for the cleaning team, providing support and resources as needed.
• Patrol the school building to maintain cleanliness, remove litter, and address any immediate issues.
• Maintain accurate time records and ensure all shifts are fully staffed.
• Ensure the team works safely and address any hazards or issues that arise during the shift.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Previous experience in a cleaning or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of COSHH and general health and safety standards.
• The ability to use initiative to resolve routine problems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting.
• Familiarity with health and safety protocols in a busy environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
