Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Use a variety of teaching resources and methods to enhance student understanding and interest in Geography.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and relevant teaching experience.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of students.
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • High expectations of both self and students, with a focus on academic achievement and personal development.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and the use of technology in the classroom.
  • A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire students to develop a love for the subject.
