The Opportunity:

As a Commercial Events Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of events and commercial lettings across the school. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the school’s commercial strategy and ensure a high standard of service for visitors and hirers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning, setup, and delivery of events across the school
  • Act as a welcoming point of contact for visitors and hirers
  • Provide administrative support for facility bookings, enquiries, schedules, and invoicing
  • Conduct tours and liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth event coordination
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date booking records
  • Support marketing and social media activities related to events and commercial lettings
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures during all event-related activities
  • Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and during school holidays

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and during school holidays
  • Experience with event coordination or administrative support
  • Basic knowledge of booking systems and record-keeping

Preferred

  • Experience in the education or events sector
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
  • Previous experience with marketing activities or promotional events
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary for a part-time role
  • 22.5 hours per week, with a fixed-term contract of 6 months
