The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated Wrap Around Care Assistant to support the well-being and development of students during after-school hours. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children and contributing to a positive, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and supervise students during wrap around care hours.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and engagement of children in a structured and stimulating environment.
• Assist with organizing and facilitating a variety of extracurricular activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students to maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized care space.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including attendance and record-keeping.
• Promote the school’s values, including courtesy, respect, and a commitment to learning.
• Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall educational and social development of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Prior experience working with children in a care or educational setting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to the school’s values, including politeness and respect.
• Availability to work part-time, 3 to 5 days per week, between 3:00pm and 6:00pm, term time only.

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational environment.
• Knowledge of child development and best practices in child care.
• Familiarity with extracurricular activities and event coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and team-working abilities.
