Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver an innovative Computer Science curriculum for Years 9–13, incorporating real-world industry projects.
• Teach a range of subjects including Key Stage 4 STEM, Key Stage 5 A-Levels and technical qualifications, and Year 9 foundational courses.
• Act as a dedicated pastoral tutor, supporting students through individual progress reviews and academic guidance.
• Collaborate with industry partners to ensure lessons reflect current tech practices and employer expectations.
• Contribute to a vibrant enrichment programme, including F1 in Schools, CanSat, and Robotics.
• Maintain high academic standards and support students in achieving their full potential.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Computer Science or IT.
• Strong knowledge of current industry-standard software and hardware.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging, practical lessons.
• Experience working with students across a range of abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

• Experience in employer-led or industry-linked education.
• Background in STEM or technical education.
• Familiarity with T-Level or technical qualification pathways.
• Experience with pastoral tutoring or student support.
• Passion for innovation and continuous professional development.
