Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality science education in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
  • Create engaging and interactive lessons that align with the National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student achievement.
  • Collaborate with industry partners on real-life projects to enhance student learning.
  • Support students in developing practical skills and a strong understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 A*-C (or 9-4) grades at GCSE including English and Maths.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Experience with the National Curriculum or in your science specialism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Demonstrable achievements in student progress and attainment.

Preferred

  • Experience in a business-led or vocational educational setting.
  • Knowledge of STEM-related industries and real-world applications.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and resources.
