Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality science education in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
- Create engaging and interactive lessons that align with the National Curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student achievement.
- Collaborate with industry partners on real-life projects to enhance student learning.
- Support students in developing practical skills and a strong understanding of scientific concepts.
- Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Monitor and report on student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 A*-C (or 9-4) grades at GCSE including English and Maths.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Experience with the National Curriculum or in your science specialism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Demonstrable achievements in student progress and attainment.
Preferred
- Experience in a business-led or vocational educational setting.
- Knowledge of STEM-related industries and real-world applications.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and resources.
