Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that support strong student progress
- Create a positive, purposeful, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and track student achievement effectively
- Use data to inform planning and improve outcomes
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen teaching and learning
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
- Experience teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Excellent classroom practice with high expectations of all students
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and raising achievement for all learners
Preferred
- Experience teaching A Level Computer Science
- Willingness to contribute positively to the wider school community
