Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an engaging and enriching English curriculum across all key stages.
- Develop and refine curriculum resources to meet the needs of all learners.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth.
- Lead and contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities in English.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality teaching approach.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and pastoral care.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of teaching practices through professional development and coaching.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in English education.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Ability to deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Commitment to the school’s inclusive Christian ethos and values.
- Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred
- Experience in leading extracurricular activities in English.
- Familiarity with curriculum design and resource development.
- Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
