Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality science lessons that engage and challenge students
  • Embed the school’s inclusive Christian values into the science curriculum
  • Support student progress and achievement through effective teaching and learning strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the science department
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students and contribute to their overall well-being
  • Participate in professional development and coaching opportunities
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular and pastoral activities
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Science education
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Commitment to the school’s inclusive Christian ethos
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a school with high expectations and strong values

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with an outstanding Ofsted rating
  • Leadership experience or willingness to take on additional responsibilities
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation
  • Experience in pastoral care and student support
