The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Computer Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in KS3 and KS4, including a new BTEC Creative Media course. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on students' digital learning and confidence through practical, project-based teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Computer Science and Creative Media at KS3 and KS4.
Support students in developing technical skills and confidence in digital learning.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with SEND.
Contribute to the development and delivery of a new BTEC Creative Media course.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Maintain accurate records and report on student achievement.
Participate in staff meetings, planning, and professional development activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Computer Science and Creative Media.
Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 levels.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to support students with a range of learning needs, including SEND.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.

Preferred

Experience delivering BTEC or equivalent vocational qualifications.
Familiarity with project-based learning approaches.
Experience working in a specialist SEND setting.
Knowledge of assistive technologies and inclusive teaching strategies.
Experience in curriculum development.
