The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher to join our team and contribute to the teaching of French and Spanish. The role offers a supportive environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a real impact on student achievement and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach French and Spanish to students across key stages.
• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural awareness.
• Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and effective assessment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum.
• Participate in the school’s professional development programme and contribute to staff training initiatives.
• Take on leadership opportunities and TLR responsibilities where applicable.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
• Engage in extra-curricular activities and school events that support language learning and cultural exchange.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
• Relevant teaching experience, suitable for an ECT or experienced teacher.
• Strong knowledge of French and Spanish language teaching.
• Commitment to student achievement and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

• Experience with the Teach Maidenhead programme or similar teacher training initiatives.
• Experience in delivering extra-curricular language activities.
• Leadership experience or interest in taking on TLR responsibilities.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in language education.
